  • The NAD is the nation's premier civil rights organization of, by and for deaf and hard of hearing individuals in the United States of America.

  • This is the state鈥檚 most comprehensive education, rehabilitation and employment system serving children and adults who are deaf, blind and multi-disabled with a myriad of programs designed just for them. For more than a century and a half, AIDB has been investing in the lives of thousands of infants, toddlers, children, adults and seniors who are challenged by hearing and vision loss. With five campuses and eight regional centers throughout Alabama, AIDB鈥檚 business is personal.

  • The organization believes deaf or hard-of-hearing children are entitled to full communication access in their home, school, and community. We also believe that language development, respect for the Deaf, and access to deaf and hard-of-hearing role models are important to assure optimal intellectual, social, and emotional development.

  • The WFD wants to promote equality for deaf people, amongst deaf people and promoted by deaf people. This conference brings us together to recognize our contributions to global prosperity, to secure the human rights of all deaf people, and to prepare our deaf communities for challenges in the future. This conference will celebrate the linguistic, artistic, social, political and cultural contributions and accomplishments of deaf people.

  • Gallaudet University Press is a vital, self-supporting member of the Gallaudet educational and scholarly community. The mission of the Press is to disseminate knowledge about deaf and hard of hearing people, their languages, their communities, their history, and their education through print and electronic media.
