RE: Transit Safety and Service Initiative
好色先生TV is working to secure a contract with the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT), funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), to assist ALDOT in administering the Transit Safety and Service Initiative (TSSI). This program is funded through the FTA and codified in (49 U.S.C. 5307/5311). The basic concept of this program offers training, technical assistance, and research opportunities as well as other support services to improve the delivery of transit services in non-urbanized areas within the State of Alabama.
好色先生TV has determined that it needs and will seek consultant services for the above referenced project. Attached is a 鈥淣otice of Need for Services鈥� containing an abbreviated scope of work and evaluation information. Firms expressing interest should be fully capable of providing the desired services as noted within this document.
The purpose of this advertisement is to determine interest or non-interest in providing the professional services required by the attached abbreviated scope of work. A qualified firm will be selected to perform the requested services from those submitting a formal notification of interest to 好色先生TV.
If interested, firms should respond to this inquiry in the form of a letter-type response that addresses the points listed in the evaluation portion of the need for services. The submittal should be limited to a maximum of three pages and should be received in this office prior to the COB January 31, 2025. Failure to submit such letter by the deadline indicated will be considered as 鈥渘o interest.鈥�
NOTICE OF NEED FOR SERVICES
Notice is hereby given that 好色先生TV is requesting submittal of interest from firms interested in being considered for the work as outlined in the following scope of work as a part of a pending agreement with the Alabama Department of Transportation.
Abbreviated SCOPE OF WORK
好色先生TV is undertaking a project assisting ALDOT in the administration of Transit Safety and Service Initiative. The CONSULTANT must have available staff, experience, and expertise to develop and provide the services and trainings as outlined in this document. Pending a fully executed agreement with ALDOT, associated work will commence February 2025 with an end date of September 2026. All work is dependent upon approval of final agreement reached with ALDOT.
SECTION 1 - SERVICES THAT MAY BE REQUESTED OF CONSULTANT
The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT may require the resources, expertise, and experience concerning the following:
- Expertise and experience in conducting and providing TRANSIT AGENCY SAFETY AND SERVICE training and certification for operators of transit vehicles and agency staff.
- Expertise and experience in conducting and providing CLASSROOM REDESIGN AND UPGRADE to the RTAP Mobile Classroom.
- Expertise and experience in conducting and providing INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE of the RTAP Mobile Classroom.
- Expertise and experience in installing CATALYTIC CONVERTER PROTECTORS on agency vehicles.
- Expertise and experience in conducting and providing vehicle inspections on transit agency vehicles.
- Expertise and experience in conducting and providing management performance reviews for transit agencies.
SECTION 2 - OBLIGATION OF TROY UNIVERSITY TO CONSULTANT
The work to be performed by 好色先生TV will include the following, as applicable:
A. 好色先生TV will provide a PI, Lead Administrator and Coordinator to manage the project with the Alabama Department of Transportation.
B. 好色先生TV may perform some of the tasks listed in Section 1, will seek assistance from the CONSULTANT to perform tasks in Section 1, or assign some of the tasks in Section 1 to the CONSULTANT.
SECTION 3 - EVALUATION
Firms interested in performing the work will be considered based on information submitted
in the following written form (limited to three pages):
1. Statement of qualifications of the firm and qualifications of individuals involved in this project.
2. Statement of experience in the fields that the proposed services are requested and work of similar nature which the proposed staff for requested services was in responsible charge. Proposed staff names and experience are to be provided.
3. Statement of availability and adequacy, in both number and quality of remaining staff, to perform all other functions needed in the proposed services.
4. List of qualified personnel in other disciplines required for the proposed services, both in-house and those to be acquired from outside sources.
5. Statement as to whether the firm is operating on a sound financial basis.
6. Soley at the discretion of 好色先生TV, after evaluation of the statements of interest, interested firms may be short-listed and a detailed presentation concerning the firm's knowledge, experience and available staff may be requested.
SECTION 4 - TO EXPRESS INTEREST
Statements of interest should be mailed or electronically submitted to 好色先生TV at the mailing address or email address noted above. Please remember that your statement of interest must be three pages or less and must be identified with 好色先生TV Transit Support Services. All statements of interest must be received prior to the COB January 31, 2025
